Griots 3in Polisher VS Suzuki Katana

I recently purchased a 98 Katana. While the bike is as mechanically sound as a 98 can be, it hadnt been taken care of cosmetically. Faded paint and covered in swirls and spiderwebs. While waiting to order what I need to do the engine, swingarm, wheels, I decided last night that I was sick of seeing the paint in that condition and did something about it. Out came the Griots 3in, 3M pads, and Poorboys SSR 2.5 and SSR 1. Started off with a good ONR wash, clayed with Clay Magic Blue and ONR for lube, then started the correction process. Let me say this..anyone who thinks the Griots 3in isnt capable of paint correction needs to use one for themselves. I tried the 6in Griots in a few spots and it was just too big no matter what I tried. I even took the backing plate off of the 3in and tried it on the big one..still too big to maneuver around the bike. Without the little Griots machine I would have never been able to achieve these results. After the machine work was done, 2 coats of Pinnacle Souveran was applied.

Thanks. This is definitely not the finished product but its a start. Got some new Continintal Road Attack tires ordered along with a ton of chrome and carbon fiber accent pieces. I cant wait to see it all on the bike.
