grinder/buffer conversion

I have a Makita (I think it's Makita) right angle grinder and I would like to convert it (not permenantly) to a DD buffer. Is this possible?

I agree with ejant on this one. You are probably looking to convert it into somthing like the PC, or an orbital buffer. But, since the grinders do not move in random motions, they would be more like a rotary. If you are not experienced in using a rotary, I suggest you don't do it.

I have a PC, I was looking into a rotary. I was using rotary and buffer interchangeably... sorry for the error with verbiage.

I wouldn't. A grinder operates at a much higher rpm in order to remove material. Invest in a rotary!
