Hello, Forum people.

I am here to hopefully continue to learn about keeping up my car. But also, I hope to find a reputable and thorough detailer in my area. I have gone through three detailers and none of them fit the mold of the word, 'Detailer'. A dang shame, especially with what they charge.
 
Welcome. I'm in Visalia and would like to help - but odds are I'm not going to be much good for you - its hard enough keeping up with our cars these days, and I don't even do very good job of that anymore :D

I agree there's lots of low-end "detailers" in our area. I do know there's a few DC members around - I'm sure you'll find someone able to help - good luck :bigups

E-Klasse, at least you feel my pain. One detailer recently damaged (yet to be resolved) my carbon fiber trim. Another detailer, got paid for a full and complete detail and finished in 2 hrs. Unfortunately, he ain't no 'super uber faster' detailer. And his work reflected that. The other was a Red place around our neighborhoods (wink, wink) that, for some CRAZY reason, I thought was worth a try. They left my interior all globby!

And all did not pay attention to the nooks and crannies (i.e many residues, uncleaned, etc). I mean, isn't that what makes or breaks a detail? Fresno deserves better. Lol.

I was going to suggest Big Ron would probably fit the need best - and probably then some. I'm sure he'll see this thread soon. You'd be in good hands :D

I feel your pain about Fresno - not sure how long you've been in town, but I've been in the valley too long. I know people that have really tried hard to make it work - my group had plans to have detail bays at Visalia's new auto mall before the whole "mall" concept imploded. Now that auto market itself has imploded perhaps it was good thing???

There's still a few decent detail shops in town, but they'll be first to admit the quality of their shop's work has suffered because its volume that pays the bills. Very few appreciate quality in our area - just look at what's on the streets - lol :rofl

I'm from Tracy born and raised...launched my detail biz in that area...you have to look around you...think outside the box when looking for a good detailer in your area...I have a good friend that owns a restaurant in Visailia that is a total car buff...I bet he has some one!

Big Ron is close to you and has the expertise to do a great job for you!

lol - he used to - but someone's getting old & medically disabled :rofl Now all my buddies car's look like they need help!!
