This is actually my dad's car. He got it from a client who was trying to get rid of it.

The exterior made me increasingly sad :( as there are virtually hundreds of chips everywhere. And a couple dozen uncorrectable scratches. The more I polished, the more you could see them. I did my best though and was able to zap a bunch of scratches.

Process:

-Interior

Dusted Everything & Vacuumed

Spot Cleaned with 303 Spot Remover

Shampooed Floormats using PC w/ Cyclo Brush with HT-31 & Hot Water/Pre-treated with 303

Dressed Vinyl w/ 303 Aerospace Protectant

Cleaned Glass w/ IG

Lexol Cleaner & Conditioner on Leather

-Exterior

HT-1 on Tires

HT-710 on Wheels

Washed w/ TW Big Orange Soap (Tried Meg's SUV Brush for the first time and loved it/ shaved car wash time by at least a third)

Clayed with Pinnacle PolyClay&Lube

Taped Trim & Badges

Metabo:

Killed big defects with Optimum Compound & LC Wool Pad

LC Orange Cut Pad w/ Optimum Polish on Hood

LC White Polish Pad w/ OP over entire car

PC:

JW's Prime w/ finishing Pad

Hand:

AJ

Dressed Tires w/ Optimum Tire Shine

Dressed Ext Rubber/Vinyl w/ Trim ReNu

Sealed Wheels w/ Rim Wax

Thanks Guys.

We're actually experiencing monsoon like weather right now. It just so happens it was sunny for a day and a half and I used the opportunity to do this car.

Nice job!

I'm suprised you cant' get those last scratches out. It looks like you have the right tools. Looks much better now though! :D

Straight through the clearcoat man. And a bunch of chips that reveal metal or primer. The front bumper and the hood were probably peppered by gravel from a dumptruck. :furious:

I might try some langka later.

Thanks, that was a same day AJ application. Like everyone says, it really gets nice and slick after it cures for a day.

Check out the bumper before.

At least that is better than north Texas car acne...which is caused by tennis to softball sized hail!

Definitely a huge improvement, car looks 1000% better!
