Great videos for newbs.....................

Hello, not to derail the thread but im curious . Being a true newb to detailing i always thought about going to the junkyard which is near me and finding a old beater toward the end of the lot, hopefully bringing a little generator for power and practicing on it,has anyone done this or suggest this as a way to hone skills?......assuming of course i get permission

I am planning on doing just that to learn the skills in 'damp sanding'. I have a 3M Air driven Orbital Sander coming along with some 3000 & 5000 Trizact dics. I will probably buy a black hood that will fit my car and practice on that.
