I just wanted to share a recent mini-vacation I took at River Ranch RV Resort: River Ranch RV Resort - Located near Westgate River Ranch River Ranch - RV Resort
It was a great feeling unplugging from the internet and hectic world of technology and work work work to spend quality time with the family. The resort is located about 30 minutes away from anything else, so once you get there you`re forced to unplug and relax.
They`ve got a ton of things for kids and adults to do, and most of them are included with your stay. The resort is a super friendly community, with the majority of the locals owning property on the resort. I recently finished a book (11/22/63 by Stephen King) and the setting was in the late 50`s in Texas. Spending time here felt like I stepped back in time myself. Everyone is friendly and waves at each other, and you can leave you bicycle unchained at the local general store without any fear that it won`t be there when you get back.

I didn`t take too many pics since my cell phone was left inside for 99% of the time, but their website shows everything they have to offer.
