Super Enthusiast
Back in business today with a well maintained G35 in graphite color with 17,000 miles.

Working with the owner Gabe, we did the following process:

Michelin Wheel & Tire cleaner on wheels and tires (great stuff!)

Z-7 Wash

Z-18 Claying with Z-6

Z-PC polish, paint was in very good shape

Z-6

Z-2Pro with ZFX

Indigo Blue Edgeless Towel removal

Z-8

Z-16 on tires with Cobra MF applicator

Z-10 on the interior leather

After shots (only):

We are very happy how it turned out. :)

Very Very Nice.

Just clean and wet looking.......the way I like it.

Sure is alot of steps but well worth it.

Time on this one?

See you're a fellow Georgian.

Thanks everyone. I had been interested to see how Z2 Pro would do on this color. We really noticed the flake popping after the Z-PC. I really like that polish. It and 106FF are in heavy rotation. :)

NICE work!

All those Z's you crazy Z-Nus need to have descriptions of process! Reminda me of Trig functions when I see Zaino details hehe

Lee,

What did you think of the Z-PC on the relatively soft Infiniti paint? I was under the impression that it was a bit too aggressive for removal of light marring on the Infiniti. I don't know where I got that idea though. Also, how did you apply it?

The car looks great. You did good work, even when working without your NuFinish.

The '06s have harder paint than previous years.

However, I know where you are coming from. I used it via PC @ 6 with a white polishing pad the other day on an Acura RSX and finished out without any hazing. Hope this helps :).

Sorry to hijack, Lee!

Z-PC works fine on Infiniti paint. I do find it works best if finished up on "6". It's not really aggressive...I find it to be a medium or medium-light on the abrasive scale.

Good info from both...I have an 06 coupe (hence why we see one another on the "other" board) and had not heard that the paint was harder on the 06 models. I have not yet had to polish it so I had no real expereince with it yet.

A local "detailer" told me that the ZPC was the most aggressive stuff around. I was quickly corrected on this by a friend yesterday. Thanks for your insight on this. I will probably stick with my Menzerna polishes.
