Detail time!
We have an old U Haul truck at work for shipping and things and last week someone painted graffiti on it with black spray paint. I know that I could probably polish it out but I heard somewhere that there was some everyday product would remove the paint a lot easier. But if I have to bust out the SSR's I will, but if you have any ideas on how to remove the paint I'm all ears! Thanks
 
We used Easy Off oven cleaner to remove the painted on business/commercial signage on an old van we once had.
Sprayed it on, let it set for 3 to 5 minutes, washed it off. Waxed the area afterwards and didn't seem to have any bad aftereffects. :dunno

You can get an aerosol can of stuff called, surprisingly enough, "Graffiti Remover." It's usually around the paint thinner or Goo Gone type products in hardware/paint stores. You can also get some from janitorial supply stores. There are 2 types (to my knowledge). One you just spray and wipe right afterwards, the other you spray and let it sit for a few minutes (more gel-like), then when you see the paint "bubble," you scrape or wipe it off. Both products can work on finishes that have been "baked on" or applied "professionally", but will dull them very noticeably. I probably wouldn't use them on cars, but if your old truck isn't pristine, this could be faster than polishing.

Also, take care to protect your eyes and lungs when using the stuff.
 
Try a claybar too. I saw a guy do a demo by spray painting his own car and claying it off. I guess this would also depend on how long it's been on there. The graffiti remover would be my first choice though.
