Gotta love the neighbors!!!

My neighbor is always giving me crap about cleaning my car, so I got a good laugh out of his adventures this weekend. (we are actually good friends and I would do just about anything for him)



He decided that he was going to wax his truck this weekend. I think he used the whole can of Turtlewax on the thing, because you could barely tell what color the truck was for the thick layer of wax. After about 4 hours of buffing, he finally got it all removed and it looked horrible. He comes and asks me what he should do about all of the wax residue. We broke out the PC and poli-seal, and in about 30 minutes had it looking great.



Anyway, I don't think he's gonna be giving me crap anymore about cleaning the car, and his wife sweet talked me into doing her car next weekend.
 
after washing the ride and getting ready to use the leaf blower today, one of the neighbors and his wife were walking by and commented that's a good idea... :D

You cleanin' that car again? There isn't going to be any paint left!:chuckle:
 
My neighbors are now used to me being out there working. My mailperson (who is a STONE COLD hottie!!) made her first comment this weekend. She always says "Hi" and "Have a nice day" but Saturday she actually asked if I ever had any fun on the weekends. Talk about a loaded question!! LOL!! I told her that this was fun for me and that doing this afforded me more fun for longer periods. She smiled and said "Well, I just worry about you having fun"....:wow:
 
My doc asked if I needed anything to "put lead in my pencil" after 17 years of married to the same women - no, doc I ain't got nothing to write about!
 
I don't notice any autopian neighbors. I broke out the leaf blower yesterday and this girl walked by with her dog, I bet she thought I was krazy. My mom thought it was a great idea and she laughed. She loved the look of her 4 Runner after some Pete's 53 wax :)

I don't think there are any local Autopians around me lol, all my neighbors think I'm crazy...what more can you do to a paint job other then clean and wax it right?
