Gotta love Texas weather

This one is a 1966 S-Type. It had the same fully independant suspension as the E-Type, same engine, same brakes. It was a great car with the reputation of being a gangster car in British movies of the '60's. We too a National Championship in Jaguar Concour with it. We sold it sight unseen to a buyer in Holland and financed the construction of my "Sanctuary" with the proceeds.

God that's a beautiful car. You can really see where the design cues for the current S-Type came from, particularly in the rear 3/4 pic.

Dang Brad, how many Jag's have you had? I love the color on the S-Type....it's simply stunning. :xyxthumbs

:bow Brad's Jags.

No big surprise here, another let down in the Texas weather. This past weekend was great, Friday-Sunday was sunny and 70s. Now, let's see, it rained, sleeted and snowed last night and it's now 20 degrees with 40 mph winds. The entire metroplex is shut down.

Looks like freezing weather for the rest of the week, can't wait til I have to detail cars Thursday and Friday. Welcome everyone who is traveling down here for the SuperBowl!

I'm off to work where I hope not to wreck my ride.

Kody,
As bad as it is there, I will gladly trade with you. Right now it is sleeting, but by later on today, we are expecting another 5-8 inches of snow on top of the 25 inches we already have. It is supposed to go through tomorrow night.
My son's Bar Mitzvah is on Saturday, and we have guests flying in from CA today. My wife is picking them up at the airport and is afraid that they won't be able to get in.
Who says there is nothing going on with the global warming?

For sure Barry, we've had a really mild "winter" down here this year. I moved here from Iowa and I don't miss that crap.

I hope the weather can clear up for you so the Bar Mitzvah can be a success. Good luck and drive safe!

Denver here.

Not much snow, maybe an inch but cold; metro area is -3F to -9F air temp. It's -3F on my front porch right now but the sun is out!

Earlier this morning the wind chill was -29F.

Forecast for tonight: -18F to -22F

Last Friday it was 70F and I washed the car.

Regards,
GEWB
