Got stuck behind a sanding truck...

I was driving on the highway last night and got stuck behind a sanding truck that was throwing sand everywhere. This morning I looked at the car and found a few white chips on the hood and one on the roof. My car is black. The scratches don't go that deep from what I can tell. What would be the best way to hide these chips aside from getting the hood repainted?

You could try Langka. I am working with it right now on a black B5.5 and if done per the manual seems to be working out fine . Need a little time and patience. Next time your *stuck* behind a sand truck .. stuck yourself a little further back. I made the same mistake and with the VW being so well insulated I didn't hear the rocks hitting so I thought I was far enough back.

Does that Langka stuff really work? I remember a while back, someone on the acura forums said it didn't work when they tried it. I went to the infiniti dealer a few days ago and they had something similar to langka at the parts area. I wonder if it actually works. I have 3 chips on my front bumper and i wanted to try to fix it myself before i get a clear bra installed

I know the Langka is working on mine .. like I say I am doing it now ... some don't RTFM and are too impatient. As for the dealer stuff I can't comment.

My Infiniti dealer has bottles of touch up paint that contain both the base and clearcoat...I may try that stuff first.

that 'stuff' at the dealer says that you use regular touch up first and then use the 'stuff' to get rid of the excess touch up after 15 mins or so; to get a professional look to touching up paint

Regular touch-up? I thought the whole thing was just one bottle of paint with a brush that you applied to small areas.

There seems to be some confusion here.

Langka is used to level down your touchup job.

Use the touchup paint pen you got from the dealer. I don't like these things myself, but if you have it already...
