Hey everyone. I have had some wonderful things happen to me lately!

I am now the full-time internet manager at 4 Star Products!

For those of you who don't know, the internet venture at 4 Star has been part time for me since I started it back in November of 2001! Before that 4 Star's was primarily Florida with distributors from Key West to Tampa.

I used to work 4 days a week as a local sales rep making product deliveries to car dealerships, detail shops and car washes all along the Gulf Coast of Florida. At night and on Saturdays I would do a little here and there to the website but was limited by time and the demands of my position.

In August of 2002 the internet was successful enough to justify hiring a new rep for our delivery route. This gave me more time to devote to our internet presence. At the same time I oversaw the new rep, shipping, recieving, and customer service in our retail showroom. I was also taking inventory and buying supplies as well.

Well, about two months ago I started getting so busy that I was started to get pressed for time to get orders processed and shipped. If a customer came in or the phone rang it was taking away precious time that I needed to fulfill online sales.

I started working late at night and coming in very early to process and ship orders.
In April it continued to get busy to the point of justifying the hiring of yet another full time employee.

So Friday we added a new member to the 4 Star team to help me process and ship orders, assist customers in the showroom, answer
the phone and help with accounting!

This frees me up to do what I set out to do and that is manage and upgrade our internet projects, full time! My new title is now affectionately "The Web Doctor!"

Hmmmm, BMW 330i, Infiniti G35 Sedan or Lexus IS300?

What? I don't get it.

Wow. Congrats man. that is pretty great for you.

A word of advice from me. Weenys drive G35s. ;) I guess the sedan might be ok though. And the IS300 is played out. Get something with style. The Bimmer is a nice idea. I know someone who wants one of those. Stay far far away from Lexus though. They are just overpriced Toyotas with little to offer. Plus their paint is crap. Nissan/Infinity isn't much better. Besides, we all know what the worst drivers on the road drive. ;)

hey dwayne, that's great. if i could, i'd spend the whole day working on my site. i love the web developing thing.

i vote bmw too. heck just get murcielago and be done with it...

Congrats Dwayne! You've worked your tail off on this thing...nice to see you get the rewards you deserve!

New assistant? Hmmm, I was wondering why my assistant hasn't been around in a while. LOL....j/k.

I say forget the rice and forget the Beemer! Wait for the '05 model year and get an '05 Mustang GT convertible!

330i BMW there is no better...LOL This is my 2000 /328i with BBS rims and I have dropped chips in the motor for a little extra fun!

Keep up the great work!

Congrats!!!

Forget the BMW. I know alot of people with them and they are just more hassle than they are worth. It's just a status symbol.
I tested a Lexus IS300 - I give it a perfect 10.
I don't know about the G35, but they do look cool.

By the way, I better still get you on the phone when I call. I'm not joking...

TheCompleteLook

Your full of beans about BMW I been driving them since 79 and not had any hassles. The one in the pic is my 5th car

Congrats!

Congrats Dwayne ... still hope you answer the phone every now and then .... always seem to get me to spend more and more :) Of course, it is well spent. Gedda Lexus, the ride is unmatched. I detail many of the cars you are looking at and have had personal lexus experience, you won't be un happy, with any of those choices for sure as well!

Congrats
-Matt

Not only will I still be answering the phones but I am looking into getting a toll free "vanity number". Something like 1.800.CARNAUBA or something much better than that.....

This number will have a distinctive ring so that when it rings I know when it is for me or if I can let someone else get it for local biz.

I will also be having the internet calls forwarded to my cell so actually this new way of doing things will increase my availability.
Even if I am on hole #8 trying to save par I will be chatting on the phone.

My new assistant is simply awesome!!! I show her how to do something one time then let her try..... and she is a natural.
Our showroom has never been so clean, I have never been able to fulfill so many orders in a day. She is a natural at just about everything I ask her to do.
She will also be helping us with the books and day to day accounting.

I have known her for almost 2 years since she worked for a local detail salon I often sold them supplies. She had worked there for 6 years actually and only quit when the owners divorced and the wife moved out of state and the husband started missing payroll.

She is 24 so we are hoping she stays around for about 41 years or so.

I will wait a few months on the new car purchase....
so many cars to choose from and I simply cannot decide.

Dwayne

Hey Dwayne,

Congrats on the promo!! I like the sound of doing business on #8 trying to save par (well in my case trying to save a double boogey but whatever works).

If the weather holds up and I can find the time after doing my customers' cars - I hope to do mine and my wifes cars with the Platinum stuff I ordered.

Congrats again !!!
