NickVTECatr ordered a load of Mf towels for some of us here in blighty! I now have 10 microfiber tech towels, (blue0, a two mf waffle weave dring towels and a glass cloth and im just going to go try them now!

They feel so plush, make my Megs ultimate wipes ( all i could get over here) feel like dish cloths!

im happy! :)

With these waffle weaves when they get wet do i just ring them out and crry on, not like a absorber where you rine it in water and ring it out and carry on?

Cheers

Rich

my experience with the waffle weave towels so far tells me that you're not going to have to wring that out. my car is relatively small though. (honda prelude) I was amazed when cma's big blue towel soaked up all the water on my car without wringing it

I am glad your stuff has arrived, my PC was shipped on Monday, arrived on Thursday :) These stepdown transformers (240 - 110volts) look expensive though :(

And it is to damn cold and wet to do anything

Wow i see what you mean about not wringing the towls out. Just washed and dried the car I love waffle weave. It is cold out t shirt jumpers x 2. Car is in the air - washing wheels and arches i hate dirt! When ive finished ill carck out the F.I and try the normal mfs!

Still dry down here Steven. Im sure my dad has brought a step down transformer ill ask him.

:wavey

Just finished my 2 car detailing session (started at 1, finished at 4:30) :bow

Car is looking mint, its amazing how the small details can make all the difference :)

The microfibertech cloths are fab!

Big blue towel (for med size vehicles) - found it mopped up water very well but it even after ringing the towel out it would still retain a small amount of water which would make it damp, meaning I could not really get the whole of the car's surface dry even after going over the car 3 times (used a small MF in the end).

I've been informed that the towel should get better the more its washed though.

Another issue I think is the cold. It seems that its so cold here that the surface of the paint cant dry properly, and in fact condensation can form before you know it :nono

Rich - did you try the Glass towel? I found that although good, not a massive improvement over normal MF? :nixweiss

The ultra towels are of brilliant quality, very plush and soft.

The Elite towels :shocked - Did some polishing on an area and it was like wiping a small furry animal on the car :D ;)

One other thing - the Blitz wax looked superb after its first wash :xyxthumbs

Btw, Ian at microfbertech chucked in a few freebies as well, top man :xyxthumbs

was going to try the glass cloth today- to much rain though! :(

Used the waffle weave to dry the car at the bp garage after i went out in it in the rain, cheeky i know :D :D :D I love that towel!

So is it worth spending some extra cash on some elite towels???

:xyxthumbs :D

Worth the extra cash? I believe so. The ultra is perfect for any kind of detailing dont get me wrong, but it just feels that bit better using the Elite for polishing and waxing  :)
