Even with being super careful and methodical when cleaning this polished black paint it would towel marr like no other. So I bit the bullet and had my buddy wrap it in self healing Xpel paint protection film.

Cool. Will be interested to hear your thoughts going forward. Still getting acclimated to our PPF`d car (STEK Dynoshield when new, full wrap about 2500 miles ago).

So far, so good but very early yet...our car is black as well. Did open the door into a light post last week w/ no ill effects; have opened my black daily driver door into same light post before and it did leave a small scuff.

Did learn yesterday if there is every any permanent staining not inflicted by stupidity (i.e. `me`) just go back to installer and re-do that panel at n/c.

Regardless, please keep us up to date as you live with it going forward...

Will do. Its definitely been worth the investment for the simple fact I can clean it without issues.
