got my edge 2000 system today

i ordered my edge 2000 system from PAC last week i got it today and installed it on my rotary buffer .WOW i love it . no more trying to center pads ... i got the yellow pad for compounding and the blue one for polishing .. i was detailing a car tonight and ran across a scratch .. applied some polish to the blue pad and tried it out . it didnt have much cutting ability but man what a shine . im going to try the yellow pad with compound on something tomorrow .. thanks again dwayne for your expertise and outstanding customer service .. i seem to be calling PAC more often lately . i truly appreciate dwayne making detail city available to us and his great customer service and great prices on great products are just icing on the cake. i cant wait to install this system on my pc as soon as they arrive .. im on the waiting list ..
 
Ron we are really glad you like the system. Please keep in mind that the blue pad is a soft polishing pad and is not made to remove scratches only to create shine with non abrasive polish. Use the yellow foam (medium cutting) with a mild compound and the scratch should come right out. Remember to keep the buffer and pad flat to the surface to prevent swirls and you should only need about 1800 rpm MAX. The DA E2K is currently available from Dwayne at PAC, I know you will love being able to snap your pads on that machine as well!! Thanks for the great review.
