think I am set for a while with DG501. Should be enough to last the rest of my life with my boat. $12 for a gallon shipped on Amazon. Killer deal. It was well worth the month wait

It may say Marine/ RV on the jug, but try it on cars, too. With either an LC white pad or a Meg's yellow, it's a very impressive cleaner, not to mention durable.

I have been using it for years on cars. I love it with a white pad !!!

I forget what I paid for my gallon of 501 last year, but it was a whole lot more than 12 bucks. Its a killer AIO for gelcoat. Never used it on paint but I just might have to try it.

It works great on paint. I have used it numerous times especially on white paint. It doesn't have much cut but it is the best cleaning AIO that I have used. It also leaves behind a very durable sealant that looks great.

Although the product is perhaps the best cleaner AIO I've used, I would just remind those reading this that products that are developed for gel coat...are not necessarily the best choice for using on clearcoat. I usually use something less potent on paint that's already in great condition. I guess it's part of the "least aggressive" mentality...and by aggressive in this case, I'm talking about cleaning ability. I've not experienced any negative results on clear coat, but I usually reserve for older, neglected paint for a quick turnaround.

I've honestly never tried the stuff despite all the praise! Maybe I'll throw a small bottle in on my next order. How does this compare to something like Squeaky Clean in terms of cleaning?

Well Squeaky Clean is a prep for an LSP or a coating. DG501 is a paint cleaner with a sealant in it.

Of course I looked on amazon right away and it was over $40. Still not bad for a gallon but not as good as $12! Great come up.

Richy asked the guys at duragloss to create a cleaner just as powerful as DG 501 without the sealant so the paint would be "squeaky clean" before applying a coating. Then squeaky clean was born. It has all the cleaning powers of 501 without leaving anything behind.

My gallon just shipped today, can't wait to receive it. Right after I ordered it the price went back to over $40.

Pm me your shipping address and I'll send you a sample when I get my gallon next week.

I would like to hear about the boat. When I was much younger I always had a boat. Talk about maintenance I had a Chris Craft Constellation it was a 32 foot with double plank Philippine mahogany hull.

All the aft deck was finished with varnish it was a beautiful boat them old boats are so much prettier than what is made today but it sure took a lot of maintenance.
We spent a lot of weekends on that boat.
