got dented by F@*@ verizon

Hello everyone,

I am been lurking around the forums for quite some time.

You could call me jimmy.

I need some advice, I just came home today from school and realize a 1.5inch deep scratch (i am 99% sure that verizon workers put it there) and it is past the finger nail deep territory.

I can almost see the bare metal in the scratch and a very lite dent mark from the result of some *beeping beeping* verizon worker. they are currently laying fiber optics in my neighborhood and my legacy got trapped between the two verizon vehicles. I could not move it out of the way and the result is my driver side fender is dented and showing the deep scratch mark.

is there anything i can do to protect it for now until i get a really good body shop to fix the problem? I live in NYC and the temp is hovering around 0 degree F and i can't get it to the shop till this weekend.

Welcome to the forums!

I would reccomend heading down to your Subie dealer and picking up some Touch up paint. This should atleast hold you over until you have a bodyshop dix it, or even better, llearning how to wetsand and buff with the PC or rotary. Hope this helps!

Clean it good and throw some paint in the scratch. If you are going to have a bodyshop fix it just do that temp. fix for now.
