When ever i detail a car i use megs nxt wash and i love it and smells great too :-P lol i scrub that really good and after that i rinse dry and sometimes i use fantastik (all purpose cleaner) to shine it up and on top of that i use megs quick exterior detailer, using those two make it shine alottt more but sometimes i just go str8 to the quick detailer and it still looks good... what do yall think about the megs quick detailer for exteriors??? whats out there thats better that i could use and get a better effect? and whatabout those things wehere u spray on when the car is wet and dry it off??? do those work well and if so what brands??

Thanks alottt...Unique

Are you saying that you are putting APC on the paint then followup with Megs QD spray?

I've not heard anyone using APC on the paint its not good for the clear coat....As for the OD spray there are some real great ones here threw the sponsors...Poorboys spray and gloss, Wolfgang has one that I like a lot can't remeber the name.

If I were you I wouldn't bother using the fantastic. Your better of using a detailer spray after a wash. If your looking for a nice boost in the shine there are so many products out there to choose from. I personally would try Poorboy's Spray and Gloss. That should give you a nice shine and leave the surface slick.

ya lose the apc. if anything it is stripping your lsp (wax). For a little added bling after your wash you might want to get some optimum spray wax (ocw) Its really good stuff!!

With the poorboys spray & gloss can i spray it on a wet car and dry it off???

and when i dry a car i squeege (sp*) it then i get little spots of water off with a mf towel.. if i used like a megs chamoi would that be better?? what do you guys do??

sorry if i seem like a dumbass askin a bunch of question and all that but im just trying to figure whats best and what not, u kno

Thanks alot....Unique

not trying to sound mean, im not, but read the stickys. they have great info that should get u on the right track. there are so many angles in which u seem like u need some help that covering them all or just covering one and leaving the other one for u to guess wouldnt be fair.

there are a lot of them so see if u can print em out and read em in the john thats the best tip i think u can get right now...

I woudl ditch the squeege. It will just scratch eventually! I would look into a quality waffle weave mf drying towel. What i like to do it wash the car and then i blow it off with a leafblower to get water out of crack (not necessary) and then i will spray the qd on the paint while I dry.

Dont feel dumb about asking questions. Try running searches though. Alot has been discussed before. Dont be afraid to post. The only dumb question is one that isnt asked!
