Got a call today.

Gentleman asked me if I was a private detailing company.

I asked why do you need to know and how can I help you?

Do you need any people to help? I said no thank you.

He says, "I have wax, a chamois and I am willing to invest." :Geezx

I again said no thank you.

He said something about having other supplies, I said sorry can't help you. I wished him well.

But bryan, i have these old used beach towels that dry like no other and these old tshirts too that wipe up that turtle wax like nothing you have ever seen!

Dagggum it bryan! What else do i need so we can go in biz together???!! Forget calling you again!

(and I thought you would be all cool and keep the phone call between you and me)

I know who he is. I saw him at World of Wheels buying a lot of Liquid Lustre and Sooper Shammys. I distinctly recall thinking, "now this is a guy who is going places in the detailing industry".

Some wax and a shammy..... that's all you need to be a successful detailer in tha ATL.

So if I upgraded to NXT 2.5 would that sweeten the pot?

Ben, I'm guessing it was a little lower then $50, I mean 50k.

JC, His "accent" was different from yours. :)

Did you like my American accent then, but you still said no? ;)

I was getting ready back in July to pull all of my money out of my 401k and invest in a local mobile detailing company. However a highly

respectable person from this forum highly recommended that I didn't do that. I was going to put 500k into the business. I am not sure if I made that right decision in not going ahead with investing in the business.

Frankly that would have been a truly bad idea. Never hedge ALL your bets on a business like that.

Common?? 500K for a mobile detailing business? Unless it's producing 3-4 times that (which is unlikely) why would you waste that much $$? Was it these guys: Contact DetailXPerts - Give Your Feedback about the Professional Detailing Services Our Car Wash Franchises Provide
