Been using Stoners and few other brands but i cant stand the smell as it overpowers

the nice scent of the interior dressing and cleaners i use. guess its just the nature

of glass cleaners but it would be great if there is a good smelling (and effective)

glass cleaner. Anyone have recommendations??

I agree, the Meguiars Detailers Line Glass Cleaner works great and smells great. Streak free when using a MF towel, cuts grease/dirt/bird droppings/etc easily.

Sprayway smells kinda perfumy. Some folks like it, it's a nice glass cleaner but the smell is off putting to me.

In all the years I have been detailing I have never had Stoners overpower any interior smell. My first question would be: "How are you using the IG?"

Meguiars Detail line, if you are not careful, you might consider drinking it.

I always though that Windex smelled great.

Ammonia is not good for most tints. Stick with isopropyl solutions.

I find the strongest smelling chemical I use on the interior to be Pinnacle Vinyl protectant. Smells like banana and coconut.

I LOVE it, and have been using it exclusively on my interiors since 1999. I even use it on the plastic on my motorcycle to get the Pinnacle smell into my helmet at speed. ;o)

+10000 on both Meguiar's NXT and Meguiar's Detailer Line. I would give the edge to the detailer line, I know Rydawg used it as a scent... lol.

You should either let people know that you work for an online detailing company that sells the products that you are recommending or stay out of it. Not very honest business practice. Note is sent to admin.

How is that any different than being a product shill for the products the company that now owns Autopia produces? Other than the fact that the admins may not have a problem with said shilling?

Detailer line it is. Now i want a good glass sealer of sorts....

The glass cleaner concentrate is well liked :) make sure to use distilled water when you make your mixture. Tap seems to make it streak.

I can see why you would think that this is against forum rules, and I admire your need to stand up for the good of forum; to keep it devoid of shills and to ensure that everything moves forward in a respectful, and most importantly, mature manner.

I have no problem indicating that I work for a company that sells the products I am recommending, and even noting it in my signature. The reason that I don't do it is because I don't think it would particularly fair to vendors who pay money to have their companies names posted here. Of course if that is forum rules, then I will play ball. I am sure you will as vigilant your friends as you are with me. My understanding is that recommending a generic product sold by forum vendors as well as in countless stores across the nation is against forum rules, as explained to me by Tort, when I worked for dodojuiceusa.

I would also hate if I am silenced from my passion of helping people achieve results through the knowledge I have gained by breaking forum rules. If I am required to post the information, then I am sure the admin will contact me . Thank you for your diligence in this manner.
