Good SMAT polish for hand correcction?

I'm looking for everyone's favorite polish for hand correction. I have the entire MENZERNA lineup but the DAT abrasives leave tracers on my black paint when doing tedious hand correction such as around emblems. I find that even P0106FA leaves small tracers without the benefit of a machine to fully break down the polish. Any suggestions are welcome!

I have had pretty good luck using Meguiars Ultimate Compound in tight places such as under door handles and around emblems and such.

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm not sure I need something as strong at M105 though. I'm thinking more in terms of maintenance and light correction.

M105 by hand has been a great product for hand polishing. But trying to recommend one product that "should" work by hand without buying multiple products. Polishing by hand should not remove much material unless you are Hulk Hogan.

The M205 is sounding good. I'm not worried about removing too much material with M105, more concerned about marring left behind.

I'm grateful for the recommendations. I ordered an 8oz sample bottle of M205 and an 8oz bottle of M105 yesterday. Can't wait to try them out!

Just to be sure we are on the same page here; you know I'm talking about using this on paint, right?

Absolutely, if you read the directions on Blue Magic it says for use on paint and plastic. Modern paint is more like plastic than lacquer, but even in the days of lacquer paint, guys would carry a tube of Blue Magic - usually wrapped in tape to hide what it was - at car shows to take care of minor scratches without using a machine. There were even some painters - very, very good painters - who would sand the cars, the rub out the sandpaper scratch with Blue Magic by hand, followed by Novus #2 plastic polish, then finished with Meguiar's #7 and a carnauba paste on top. Blue Magic is a very old school move, at least now it is, though it wasn't when I learned it. :o)
