I was on my way to work the other day to finish up a Semi I was working on when I got a text from my client telling me that he had another car at his gargae for me to work on while I was there. Knowing him i knew it could be just about anything. I walked in the garage and there sat a CLK63 Black Series. This car is one of my favorites after seeing how good of a review that Jeremy Clarkson gave it on Topgear. Then I was informed that it was owned by the Indy car driver Graham Rahal. Just that alone made it 10 times more exciting for me to work on. Only a wash was performed on the car for a photo shoot the next day but here are some pictures that I took of it during the process.
This car made a long journey for the photo shoot so it was pretty dirty. It really needed to be clayed and polished out but the car would not have been at the garage long enough for that to happen.
Hiding in the background is the massive Semi that I spent about 17 hours on. The main part of the detail was polishing out all the aluminum, which when you included the surface area of the rear deck takes a long time.
As you can see the water was still beading up pretty good on the paint after I washed it so I just gave it a quick wipe down with Chemical Guys V7 as i was drying off the car.
Hope everyone enjoys and thanks for reading!!!!
