Good filler wax?

Well, over the weekend I was actually able to spend time on my garage queen to get ready for the All-Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle. First step was to wash. Next I did the whole car with SSR2 and a yellow cutting pad. Next I did PP with a white polishing pad (both pads by Lake Country I think). Many of the small scratches were greatly reduced, but not completely gone. I was thinking of going over the car again with SSR2 and the white polishing pad, then follow with SSR1 with white polishing pad, followed by EX x2 (it's a red car, by the way). My question is the car has some clearcoat pitting. I have done a little wet sanding in the past, but I think the pits are too deep for anything in my skill level (possible repaint, but from 3 feet away the paint looks great). I was wondering if there are any good waxes with some filling properties that I could top the EX with? Anybody have some suggestions?

Thanks.

After the polishing stages use some glaze like 3M IHG its got some fillers, then I'd top t hat with somethign like Cherry wet wax that has fillers

Where do you find that Cherry Wet Wax at Beemer? I tried the IHG this weekend on a test hood we have and I was not impressed with it at all.

Thanks!

Cherry wet wax is all over the place but try and call Dwayne at PAC and see if he has it. The combo of 3M IHG and the wax topper gave me the results that I was looking for.

I would use PwC but apply as you would a wax..apply by hand ..let haze and then wipe off....you might also consider wiping off with cotton not mf as mf will suck off more of the filling action.

So Steve, you would apply the PwC on top of the EX? I also have a bottle of PwC at home, so that would be worth a try.

I would do it before EX and then apply EX in the same manor..by hand

I had to do this to a black show truck that had some pretty bad swirls and scratches thanks to a CWB before a major show...even out in the sun you could only find them if someone pointed them out. Of course this is only a temporary fix:(
