Well, over the weekend I was actually able to spend time on my garage queen to get ready for the All-Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle. First step was to wash. Next I did the whole car with SSR2 and a yellow cutting pad. Next I did PP with a white polishing pad (both pads by Lake Country I think). Many of the small scratches were greatly reduced, but not completely gone. I was thinking of going over the car again with SSR2 and the white polishing pad, then follow with SSR1 with white polishing pad, followed by EX x2 (it's a red car, by the way). My question is the car has some clearcoat pitting. I have done a little wet sanding in the past, but I think the pits are too deep for anything in my skill level (possible repaint, but from 3 feet away the paint looks great). I was wondering if there are any good waxes with some filling properties that I could top the EX with? Anybody have some suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.
