Good day gone bad.... best driveway cleaner to use

Well I took advantage of the mulch sale at Home Depot.
Ten bags at a time as to not damage my Ford Explorer with new rear struts. FIRST RUN... light dry bags
On the second run.... heavy and wet. I get back thinking the rear strut blew. What's that black stuff dripping out?
The guy managed to place a bag with the corner leaking right into the lh side storage holder like a running sink. The husky liner held a ton more. Only that instead of getting towels to sop it up when I picked up the liner half went on the carpet and the rest all over the driveway.

WT HELL.... Needless to say I just spent over an hour cleaning out the back of the explorer.
Tuff Stuff works wonders. I removed a large drain plug and put towels under the wet sound proofing in the rear quarter. Tuff stuffed the two removable carpet storage lids and hosed them down. No staining on the interior.. Whew

Well this black doesn't come off the concrete very well. I poured Krud Cutter for concrete n Scrubbed. I guess the stains will stay for now.
I refuse to power wash concrete on a 3 year old driveway. I don't want to chance etching.
Anyone know of a safe method?

For you guys getting mulch.

USE A PICKUP!
 
TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) and a scrub brush, like a deck cleaning brush with a handle so you have knees left. I know Lowes sells in in the paint section, it's a powder like a small box of laundry detergent. Which is essentially what it is - was the active ingredient in detergents and dishwashing powder for years. Good stuff.

That's why I have a pickup, should of done what I did today wash and seal with a side order of detail. I have had black mulch delivered in the the past The staining won't last hit it with the pressure washer. Thanks for reminding me I need some mulch lol......
 
ShawnF350- Oh gee, sorry to hear about that. If simple OTC products don't clean the driveway, Griot's sells a pricey Concrete Brightener/Cleaner that works well.

I wouldn't have worried about the struts over just ten bags of mulch, you wouldn't believe the stuff I've carried in my SUVs. Never had an Explorer though, so eh, what do I know about those ;)

This is why I line the back interior of my dog-haulers with material from Hatchbag. Even better when used in conjunction with liners from Weathertech or Husky. I've had all sorts of nasty stuff leak out, but it never made it through to the (light gray) carpet.
 
The husky liner never leaked. It seems the more aggravated I got the worse it got. Lol
I should have used a few towels to soak up the mess sitting in the liner. Instead it was like picking up a swimming pool. First all over the carpet, then all over me and concrete.
I'll let it go for a few weeks now. It got lighter when I got it today with Purple Power.. Didn't work though

Ah, now I understand. And yeah, that "the more aggravated I got..." is often how it goes.

I probably would've sucked it up with an extractor first, and then used the towels. I know, that doesn't help now but if there's a next time..

And oh man am I gonna keep this in mind when I load up the Tahoe with it this week.

Do you have a Professional Carpet Cleaning Supply store in your area? I'm wondering what they'd recommend.
