This review is for a great new product I used to remove some sticker and tape residue from the windows of my Mustang.

This stuff is in a very thin gel form. The bottle says it is great for vertical surfaces because it is gel. Well don't believe that! It's so thin it's just like regular Goo Gone. However it smells a lot better (citrus smell)

I squirted some of the solvent onto the area needing cleaned and then squirted some onto the cloth and blotted the area. Waited 5 minutes and the stuff wiped right off! Excellent

Next tash was tougher. I had to use some duct tape on the car once because the passenger window was broken out and it was raining and my wife had to drive the car so I duct taped a plastic sheet over the window area :scared

Some of this area with the tape residue was painted. However I used the same technique on this area and the duct tape residue rubbed right off!

This Goo Gone is impressive indeed. It says it is mainly made for bumper sticker residue however I would never put a sticker on the paint of a vehicle but this stuff still worked great for the tape residue. :xyxthumbs

Good review. :xyxthumbs I have a bottle of this stuff myself and have experienced similar results. It didn't work so well on tree sap, but it works great on sticker residue. Thanks for the review!

On a new MINI Cooper "S". The dealership did a poor job of pre-delivery cleaning on the car. No real problem with me, I didn't really want them doing *anything*. On the roof, over the sunroof there was apparently one of those big plastic sheets they use for shipping. It was glued down at the edges with some type of very powerful stickum. I tried several times to wash it off using progressively stronger stuff and it wasn't going anywhere. Out came the Goo Gone. Put it on a MF and with a little light agitation, the stickum crap came right off. Tossed the Goo Gone into my bag of tricks.

Yeah I used it to clean the adhesive residue off of my trunk after debadging my trunk of the tacky dealer badge. Worked great! Can't even see where the badge was.

Also used it recently to clean gummy sticky unknown goo I found while cleaning my door jambs and around the doors...once again worked beautifully.

Great stuff! :xyxthumbs

u can get it anywhere almost. Most hobby stores have it, but you can also get it at walmart, home depot, etc.

does anyone know if you can use this stuff on tint? I've dont some weird crap that's formed on the inside of my window. It's on the tint and I've tried just plain water to get it off, but the stuff won't move. I don't want to ues windex or something like that tince it may harm the tint, but I'm getting really annoyed and don't know what to use. Will goo-gone hurt tint?

I don't think that I'd use it on tint. Most things have to be labled "safe for tint" for them to really be ok. Anything else you use will be pushing your luck. All I know is that if I was having trouble getting tint off a window I would probably try Goo Gone to see if it would help. With that in mind, I don't think I'd put it anywhere near the tint if I wanted to keep it on the glass.
