Gonna detail a friends chopper. Need some advice

A friend of mine contacted me recently and asked if I could get his bike looking good for an upcoming show. I said I'd be glad to.

Now it is a chopper with lots of chrome. I'm not sure how bad a condition its in, but I assume its not horrible from the way he takes care of his vehicles.

What product would you guys reccommend using to really make the chrome shine? Also any good tips?

I have chrome wheels on my car and usually use the Megiurs chrome polish and I haven't benn dissappointed, but I was wondering if there was something else that would be better? I do want to try the Black fire products, but on my vehicle first.

Man, there are a ton of things you can use on chrome! Follow the same procedure that you would with paint. Use the least aggressive method and move up if it doesn't meet your expectations. Here is a list of what I use from least aggressive to most. I have also used Colli metal wax on a small foam pad on my rotary with dynamite results too. I can post an F250 I did like that if you are interested.

P21S Polishing Soap

Collinite Metal Wax (either with mf or with buffing pad)

Autosol with mf or 0000 steel wool

Presta UCCL or Megs 205 with either mf or 0000 steel wool

M105 and white wool pad

Where can I find those products?

HERE is a link to the F250 job I referenced. Check the online store here as well as AG. PM me for more info if you require.

Thanks for the help. Great job on the F250. Once I get a memory card for my camera I will post some pics of the cars I do.
