Gold Plated Badging (emblems)

I have an Infiniti I30t with gold plated badging that is fading badly. Looks like the plating is wearing off leaving a dull brass/ copper color. Now that I know how to remove the badging (thanks BW :xyxthumbs ) I am looking for a source for good quality gold plated badges. Anyone have any ideas as to sources?? Thanks in advance.

You can email them what model and year your car is and they will tell you if it's something they carry. I also had the same problem with my badges.

Update: After two requests, accessoriesrus did finally send me a reply and they do not offer a gold emblem kit for my 1998 Infiniti I30t. Does anyone have any other sources. Given the past experience with factory badges, I want to try aftermarket brands.

Hey Scott....sorry they didn't have what you wanted. Have you tried to find someone who could do it locally? There are places that do gold plating on the spot, even mobile. Perhaps you could find someone in the yellow pages.



Just another option to try.

Do you have to have gold? If not, the dealer should have everything you need to replace them with the factory emblems.

I did try locally and the sources dried up......Hmmmmm....sounds like a business opportunity. I'll try the MB dealers and see if they have a local source.

Scott- No I don't have to have gold, SHE has to have gold. (My wifes car). She ordered the gold package from the factory and we have been really dissapointed with the quality.
