gold class wax and clear bra

I was told on a white car not to use "yellow" wax on a clear bra, as it might cause yellowing over time.



I was wondering if the meguires gold class wax is considered yellow?
 
The whole advice pertaining to no yellow wax on a clear bra sounds like bunk to me. Feel free to wax a clear bra with any color wax IMHO. FWIW gold class wax is whitish.

I polish clear bras when I do my finishing with something like OP or 106ff or #80. I also glaze and wax them along with the paint and get better results than products made for plastic.



I do not however, compound them with wool.
 
I have a 3m clearbra on my TL. Custom sized and had my bra for over 2 years. I wax it (zaino) all the time to keep the film slick as can be.



I've used abrasive polishes with a PC and did no harm. Just make sure you don't apply too much pressure and keep the speed down to 4 or 5. I'm sure any wax will not yellow the bra over time.



IMO, I think it would yellow over time when there's so much heat and sun which will make the film fade or yellow.
