Going to re order - ONR or QEW

Used QEW for 12 years. Haven't used it since ONR came out. I can get both locally and for about the same price so my choice is strictly product performance. I think it would be safe to say I washed more cars with QEW than probably anyone in the country (somewhere in the 9000-10000 range) so I'd say I do have a bit of experience using it. Great product but ONR is a step above. More gloss, more slickness and an obvious improvement in beading on cars with little or no wax protection.
 
I agree with Scott. I used both last week and ONR was a little easier to use and dried better.

I don't doubt that ONR might be better than QEW. With all that washing you should know! I still have enough QEW left for washing my two trucks this winter. Is ONR enough better that I should just chuck the QEW and buy some ONR. When the trucks are really gritty/dirty I use the two bucket method with QEW in both the wash bucket and the rinse bucket.



Most of the time I go to the coin-op and wash the trucks to get the "tough stuff" off before using the QEW at home in my garage using the one bucket method..

Tom, don't get me wrong, QEW is still a good product so I wouldn't toss out what I have, I'd use it up. What I did was use QEW up on the wheels and fenderwells but I go through it a lot faster than you do so that might not be the best solution for you. :nixweiss



I am pretty sure Optimum will still be there for your spring order anyway. ;)

:nixweiss Apparently you and your friends are in the minority on this one. However, like Mike Phillips says, "find something you like and use it often."
