The cobra indigos are great for removing wax and they do not lint.

Really its not very pricey at all for a quality MF towel. This isn't the crap you find at costco or sams club...

Exactly right. Even the MF towels that Poorboys sells (I hear good things) aren't much cheaper than that.

If you're going to order/purchase any towels I would urge you to buy with the intent of sampling the product first (if possible). In other words, don't go nuts and order a dozen of something without having the chance to test it out yourself. ....been there, done that and regretted it.

If you want to split hairs, even though I've said to just keep this stuff simple.....

I like 'em even plusher than that for removing QD as it's just too easy to end up leaving some tiny droplets behind. The Ultra Plush PakShak ones work OK (used one the last time I washed the A8) but they're not really my faves for this. I'm currently using MF *mitts* which are thicker/plusher than my regular MF towels, including my PakShak Ultra Plush ones. They get all the QD off the paint (first passes with WWs, final buff with the mitt, get out a new mitt after a few panels).

I like different towels for QDing (at least when I'm doing a lot of it, not just spot-cleaning or something like that..) than I do for polish/LSP buffing.

Do you have a link to a picture of what MF mitt you are using?

No...if I could find 'em I'd buy more! I various MF mitts, and the ones I like best are *VERY* plush blue MF. No "thumb". Moderately thick foam/whatever-it-is lining. (Sorry, I still don't do the digital-imaging thing so I can't post a pic :o ) The last blue ones I bought, expecting the same thing, aren't quite as nice. The gold/orange/yellow Pinnacle MF mitts I bought last year are inferior; not awful, but inferior to my faves by a pretty wide margin. The white SM Arnold ones have longer nap and/but the MF style just isn't what I like for this.

Soooo....the Pinnacle ones aren't bad, but I'd try to shop for some "really plush blue MF mitts" and see what you come up with. If any of them impress you as "wow, these are really great!", please post back and I'll might try 'em out too :D

It was almost like a cosmic spanking- after posting on this thread yesterday I washed the Yukon XLD, used my Pinnacle MF mitts when doing the while-drying QDing and they left MF lint all over! Not really awful, Shamrock-style lint, but enough that it bugged me and I ended up going back over it to clean that [stuff] off as best I could.

G37- Yeah, I *think* those are the SM Arnold mitts I was referring to. Nothing *wrong* with 'em but you have to watch that they don't retain abrasive stuff and turn into scratch-machines. I have the same issue with certain sheepskin wash mitts, like the otherwise *really* nice one from Griot's.
