Going to my first Air Show.

Looks like a pretty good show, Chris!! :bigups Enjoy yourself & be sure to use lots of sunscreen on the kids & drink lots of WATER!! :D (oh, & take your own t.p.!!! ;) ) I went to one here @ Luke AFB - it was great, but I got sunburned in March! :(

Scott, as I read the link that Chris provided, it looks like there will be an A10 demo. Does that count??

They are a blast! Saw the A-10's in action. Blue Angels put on an outstanding show. The B-2 would be quiet the sight to see. You will have a great time.

I actually have to work all of the airshows at Little Rock Air Force Base because I'm stationed there. Air shows can be fun if you don't work on aircraft for a living. I do like seeing all of the different aircraft they bring in though. A break from the C-130 is always welcome. The B-2 flyby is pretty impressive. They do touch and goes every now and then at my base and unless you're looking for them, you won't see/hear them until they are over you. The A-10 is an impressive piece of machinery too. I've seen what type of damage they cause and what they can take and it's simply amazing. Make sure you bring your own water and snacks, because prices are rediculous. Have a good time and take plenty of pictures.

...And I seriously doubt they'll let you wax the aircraft, but it never hurts to ask.

A-10 the warriors friend. They can do some awesome things. Just a flying tank all armoured up.

I would like to see the B-2 Bomber and the Stealth fighter. What ever the number of the fighter is. Just the shape of it makes it hard to see in flight.

Pretty great show. Did not get there in time for the A-10. Kids made us late........no...not the Kids!....LOL

Had all 4 military branches there recruiting. Kiddos got to hold some guns..LOL, sit in hummers and some other fun stuff. Some pics will be posted tomorrow.

They had the EOD team there doing some BAD ARSE Pyro stuff. They were called the Blastards....LOL They must have been AT LEAST 200 yards away, and the final blast must have been a good 50 yards wide, if not more. I felt the heat wave hit. Nice firey mushroom clouds. TOO AWESOME!!
I will be going back to the show on Sunday. Be there EALRY this time. Make sure I take some good pics.

Re: F-22 Raptor

Bit of a cheap plug for a friend of mine here, but in case anyone's interested, he got a really great shot of the "Heritage Flight" down at Sun N Fun with the F-22 Raptor, F-15, and P-51, which is being made into posters:

It was actually the F-22's first civilian airshow appearance.

I did not get alot of pics, since it was getting dark fast. The show at night was great.

Here is a pic of me and my daughter...HAHAHA..I have found my calling!
