Huh...I do like Souveran, but I've never thought of it as a ultra-high-gloss LSP.

Yep, deep, wet, and lots of almost rainbow like range. Glossy, not so much.

Among the few less-expensive LSP's I've tried...BFWD is pretty good. The trick is to follow it up with Optimum Instant Detailer (OID), but I understand that isn't an LSP. But it does kick up the gloss a lot.

Hopefully I'm not hijacking here, but do these recommendations change for a silver car? I'm seeking the glossiest possible finish with great depth on Acura's Billet Silver Metallic.

Longevity matters less because I'm perfectly happy to re-apply often. Historically I've always used a sealant topped with 'nuba (both Griot's Garage) and while the car looks nice, the finish doesn't amaze me.

What say you, Autopia? Any suggestions for something to try?

OCW amazes me being a spray wax and kicking up the gloss the way it does. It rivals a bunch of liquid/paste LSP's IMO. When I'm trying to compare LSP's, it's usually on my own car which is a Black Magic Pearl VW. Even though it's black, I can't seem to find the perfect finished look. There's something unflattering about the color.

My preference for dark colors is NOT an LSP that is glossy. I go for depth and wetness on black or dark blue. My #1 fav on darks is CG 50/50. Souveran works well too. For the same reason something like Z2 or IW845 looks bad.
