Wich "glazes" should I buy to extend my product collection ?

I never used glazes before so any info would be helpfull....

Clearkote Hand Glaze of Machine Glaze is where I would start.
 
What is the difference between Red moose and Vanilla moose...?

And also the EX-P, moose wax and cream wax, are those then sealants ?
 
EX-P = sealant

Yellow wax and cream wax = carnaubas



Dude, do some searches on vanilla moose and red moose (many times abbreviated as VM and RMG). There has been a lot of discussion about them in past threads.
 
Clearkote RMG is very easy to use and works well on all colors.



I also like any of the 3M glazes. The Imperial and Perfect IT lines work great. Though they are a bit harder to apply, they can be easily applied with a PC and blue pad at a slow speed.



Basically, glazes offer a filling ability to cover any minor scratches that may have been left behind/you were unable to remove. They also enrich the color and wetness factor, adding overall depth to the paint.
 
I already had cotact with Bob from Danase and as soon as Red moose is back instock, my order will fly out to Belgium !
 
While there has been a lot of discussion about Vanilla Moose vs Red Moose, I'm still a little confused as well, considering the Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze says "works great by machine!". Aside from them obviously being a different colour, I know the Vanilla Moose has wax in it as well, where as the Red Moose is just a glaze. I don't know the difference aside from these two factors. I have some VM but I don't know what the hell to do with it. Is it a good glaze for white cars? I mixed with RMG to make that "pink moose" and used it on a white pearl car for a show, and it came out looking nice. Did it look better than using just RMG or VM? I don't know. I don't know if anyone knows honestly.
 
Since we are on the topic of glaze, can anyone give some feedback on this 3M Perfect-It Durable Glaze, 38112. Saw it at one of the detailing supply shop, very tempted to try but I already have plenty of products sitting in my cupboard, especially when I still have half a bottle of the 3M Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze.

VM will clear up MINOR swirls and hazing better than RMG, in my experience. RMG makes the finish "wetter" than VM. If I want to use strictly Clearkote products, I'll use VM (yes it can be used by machine) then RMG then YCW then Carnauba Moose. Yummy.
 
Has anyone here tried the XMT Finishing Glaze yet? From what I've seen it's had great reviews and the pictures look amazing. However they're all on Autogeek's forum so I'm afraid it could just be due to their bias. Anyone that has used both, how would it compare to RMG? I'm in the market for a glaze and it's going to either be XMT or VM & RMG.
