Glaze on customers cars?

Hey guys, I'm a part time detailer just, 2-3 cars a week, and I was reading a detailing article that said most pro's use a glaze on their customer's cars. I have used meg's show car glaze , topped with p21s on car's for a show or for pictures , and it looks great, but I have always considered it a very temporary product with no durability. Is this something I should be using on customers cars? I know it would look great, but I am concerned about durability, I don't want to charge someone for something that only last a week or so. Also, could I top a glaze with a polymer sealant like UPP, or wouldn't it bond?

Thanks,

Heff

Glaze would add more shine and a wet look to the customers car so they would prolly like it better. And glazes do not last that long...if you top them with something such as P21s though they last longer. Most people seem to agree that you cannot top a glaze with a sealant. I am using UPP and have some #7 laying around so I am going to try it soon.

I tried topping #7 with UPP on my Celica's hood but it didn't bond right. The rest of the car was beading nicely but the hood was looking like it didn't have any wax on it. I guess the oils in #7 won't let a sealant bond to it. If you wanna top #7 with a sealant, I'd try EX. EX doesn't seem to be particular about what it bonds to. I haven't tried it on my car but I did my buddy's Mazda with EX and it's great stuff. Next time we do his car, I'll try #7 under EX.
