Sep 10, 2007 #1 southerndetail New member Why is it when you apply protection to glass(rain x) and to the paint(poly sealer) at the same time that the glass seems to stay protected for longer. At least it beads for a longer time compared to the paint.

Sep 10, 2007 #2 dr_detail Beautification Specialist paint being porose is more likely to suffer the effects of oxidizitaion than glass would be my guess
