Glass Towels

Looking to buy some microfiber glass towels. Anyone have experience with towels from Maxim Mart or Towel Pros? I know the ones from The Rag Company are good, i have about 20 of those. They are most expensive though. Didnt know if they are worth the extra cash or if the cheaper alternatives are good enough? I also tried the huck towels already. Just looking for a little feedback. Thanks everyone.

I can usually get good results regardless of the towel or glass cleaner and find the key is always using 2 towels (one initial wiping and the second to finish off with just before cleaner evaporates). I'll also grab new ones as they become soiled, otherwise your just transferring grime from one window to the next. Wearing nitrile/latex gloves helps too as it keeps any body oils off of the towels and gives you more grip for holding the towels too.

I like and use the huck towels, WW glass, and even the ultra thin MF glass towels. I got a sample of these towels to try and really like them as well, just not sure I want to spend that much on towels. They are dual sided and the long nap side is unlike any other MF towel I've used.

i have used the green ones from TowelPros and their MF ww blue ones

the green (ribbed) ones are nice to use, and u can use less product, heck u can even use water if you want but I prefer PB GC as I do most of my work in the sun

but as said before the key is two towels and no oils on your hands (wear gloves)
I have never had a customer complain about windows and I regularly send exit surveys (yea i know its the social scientist in me)

but honestly my favorite glass towels are the four towels that came in the Rupes Duetto kit (yellow, white, green, and blue) -they just work well for me

But I want to try what Ron referenced soon

I'll agree with Rasky on the two towel method.
I have ordered from Towel Pros around the holidays and he sent me 10 of his green glass towels to try. I have his waffle weave and Wax/Polish towels too.
I just ordered another 25 since other family members now want them. And the cleaner I use too.
I've never had glass come out this well.
I'm using Poorboy Glass Cleaner which must have some type of water beading ingredient. My windows look like I used Rainx.

I'm linking the method I use that Towel Pros posted.

For Ron I've included another unrelated "Towel Pros" video which was sent to me last year. Came across it while looking for the other link above.
Please don't try this after you get another Car Show Award Ron...... lol

My favorite towel is the Cobra glass towel from ACC: Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towel

It's a little bit more expensive, but it works really well. I think it works better than my Microfiber Madness Cloudbuster.

I have one or two from The Ragg Company and they work well, but definitely have to follow with a second towel.

Heh heh, and after you read all the threads and synthesize all the advice and buy the *RIGHT STUFF* you'll still find that YMMV applies, so just keep at it until you find the approach that works for *YOU* ;)
