Glass polishing/sealing twist?

JaredPointer

COME AT ME BRO
Does anyone use a polish, AIO, or sealant/wax on the INSIDE of the windshield? Just thinking about it, I wonder if it may help decrease the accumulation of stuff on the insides of the windows that lead to streaking, fogging, getting dirty, etc.

I don't either (very big non-fan of Rain-X too), I just got ta thinkin'..... And well, you know what that leads to.... :)

I tried it once out of curiosity with P-w-C and didn't think that it was doing any good. I didn't notice any difference over the next few days

I have started this year doing rubbing alcohol and water wipe downs before I use the glass cleaner. I have found that cuts the crud on the inside of the window A LOT. That's one area that I have found I can get the glass as clean as possible, then when the car hits the sun I can see smears. Hence the reason I started using a prep cleaning method

I agree on the Rain-X not being a favorite of mine but I do put sealants on my windshield and have never had a problem. I don't live in a rainy area and don't drive in the rain often either. Heck I don't drive that much at all any more.

I have never attempted to put anything on the interior side of the windshield. Mostly because I am lazy and not because of any detrimental effects... if there is any? I guess I could be enlightened.
