I have used both 22PLE clay and just today Soft 99 smooth egg. Both claim to not have abrasives in the clay bar. I just paid $13 for soft 99 smooth egg it is almost half the price and feels like normal clay. From what I can remember 22PLE was very soft. Soft99 was more firm which I prefer. I clay two cars today. The first was 12 month old CQUK and the second was a personal car with a bunch of different ones UK, gloss coat, CSL, kisho 701 plus 901, simioniz glass coat. UK had least amount of crud followed by kisho 901. If your like me and get a woody from finding a bargain u will like soft99. If anyone is Interested pm me for link. There is a Japanese company that exports anything you want from Japan they carry neat Japanese coating that are hard to find. That also sell on other big internet sites.

The 22ple clay bar feels like silly putty. Some of you you g guys might not know what that is.

I contacted 22ple via Instagram and they told me the clay bar is non abrasive and is meant for coatings.
