If it's your first time using it, you have to apply it as thin as possible. If you apply it on a light color, you should hardly be able to see it - that's normal.



The easiest way to do it is to use a small spray bottle; you can either spray it directly on the paint, or onto (I recommend) a MF applicator. Remember, thin is the word.



If you apply to much, it's a little harder to remove, and you'll see streaking later. That's no problem, though, as the next wash or rain will fix that.

That's weird. The bottle(can) I have doesn't say that?



What happens if you apply multiple layers? You'd think that it would be beneficial to use a 2nd coat to insure uniform coverage?

It wouldn't hurt anything to do it a second time and you would get more uniform coverage. The product, if it does contain strong cleaners, will simply remove the previous product and it will end up in your towel. So, it's just a waste. I think one application generally gets pretty uniform coverage, anyway.
 
Yes, it contains solvents that are designed to remove wax and other thinks already on the paint; though it can't hurt to apply it twice, you won't be getting any layering effect.

You're right David, it doesnt say that on the bottle. I read it somewhere, either on 1z's site, or another site, but cant find it now.



You can apply two layers of Glanz to ensure complete coverage if you'd like. Thats really the only benefit you'd get out of doing it.
 
I used it over ZAIO today on a light blue Buick, it seemed to work alright, I dunno if it removed what the ZAIO left on the paint or not. :nixweiss



Just make sure to put it on thin, I normally apply LSPs under halogens to ensure a thin coat but didn't this time, so I put waaaayyyy too much on and had a hell of a time getting it off.
 
I use a PC and one of those red LC pads - I guess I tend to over apply sealers and waxes and this way, I "work in" the 1Z a bit, makes it easier to remove too.
