Ok here is the scoop! I own a Black 1994 Ford Explorer that I have somewhat let go to pot over the years because I have spent too much time taking care of my convertable.

Anyway, I am going to be giving this beast a complete makeover this summer. Head to toe.

There are several spots with rust (none bigger than a quater and most the size of a pea).

There are tons of swirls and scratches.

My question is, can you guys outline a shopping list of stuff that I will need to get the job done to the high standars of this board?

I will probably get a PC polisher and use that.

Thanks for your help

Just about to buy it, and I saw this.

"If you have a coupon that can be redeemed from Autopia -- Car Detailing Enthusiast Community, please enter the offer code in the box below"

Anything I should know before buying?

Thanks:)

I believe the coupons were stopped when he dropped the price from $14.95 to $9.95 permanently. Coupon or not you can't beat the price for the information you'll get. :xyxthumbs

That is best done by Naval Jelly which can be purchased from any auto supply store like Autozone for a very low price. If it is heavier rust it may take a while and require multiple applications, but it will work. I also like the organic rust sealants for light rust.
