GG 3" DA worth getting?

I have a Flex 3401 and a PC. I have had the PC for years and once I got the Flex I really didn't use the PC much anymore. I ended up keeping the 3" backplate on it so I could use it in smaller areas. For the most part it's worked fine except when the body of the PC is too big for a tight spot. Mainly I run into issues when polishing the exhaust on my Trans Am for car shows.

Is the body of the GG 3" polisher a lot smaller. If you have one do you think it was worth buying?

I have one and love it. The body is much smaller and very easy to maneuver into tight spots. I recently done a full correction on my bike with it. I use it all the time for headlight restorations too. Its a handy tool to keep around but any speed under 4 or 5 is useless. If you don't mind running at high rpms, go for it.

Nice thing about the 3" is it is light weight easy to maneuver and the unit is a smaller body.

Is the rotation tighter than the PC with a 3" pad? Sometimes I find that the rotation of mine is too large for what I'm working on. On my old trick it had round fog lights and when I tried to polish them the rotation was too big and the body was too big to make it effective.

If a person buys this machine and holds it to the same standards as a PC or a Cyclo, chances are they are going to put it down and discredit it. Keep this in mind. Its NOT a PC or a Cyclo and was never intended to be. Its not powerful, and its not intended for full corrections. Its built with the purpose of working into tight spots that your bigger machines cant. Heres a link to what this machine is capable of with a little patience.

Well I understand what your saying but it's not meant to take the place of a PC or another machine. It's meant for small spaces and spot correction. Try polishing a car using a 3" backplate on a PC.

I'm interested in it for tight spaces when the 3" backplate on the PC still can't get to the area.
