Getting That Time Of Year

So after yesterdays 10 minute bit of sleet and snow made me realize that cold weather is upon us. Starting bringing in painting supplies from the garage, detailing and other automotive supplies are next. Cars are sealed and ready, still need to undercoat the Expedition with Fluid Film.

Both furnaces have been service and been running a little bit, oil prices are going up as expected. Unfortunately both tanks are still 1/2 so they won`t fill them yet.

Anybody else slowly getting everything ready for winter? Been rumors of being cold this winter, atleast in my area.

I have been thinking about it but want to push it off as long as possible.

The truck is wear Opti-Coat so it is good.
My car is going in to body work this week. So it is a no go.
Wifes Jetta still has CQUK after 2+ years. It should be fine but I want to reapply something anyway with just quick cleaning polish like essence.

No doubt. It was RAW here yesterday. Today was much better. 55 & no wind. Just got done washing the Xterra. It has been done for winter already. DP POLI COAT paint sealant and wheels glass & trim all coated. I have not pulled product just yet. Figure maybe one or two more good weekends. HATE giving up my hobby over the winter.

Oh, sorry...............

With this being my first winter in Florida, I will say I`m a little thrown off with the weather being so nice and not seeing fall foliage. It`s a little weird, but I`m quickly growing to love it :D.

Leaves don`t change color here, license plates do.

It`s beautiful here in South Georgia. I can finally go outside without sweating through three shirts. Today it was 83 and sunny. It may not get real cold here until February, and then that is only for about 6 weeks. No snow for me.

Since winter is coming....I`m moving all my detailing products back out to the garage.
It`s a nice time in Arizona in the winter.
Great time for golf!

Getting the snow blower out and running this weekend. Covering up the outdoor furniture and making sure the gutters are clean.

The winter is not my favorite time of year but it`s something I need to deal with. :(

Back from the dead!

Pulled the snowblower from its hiding spot and in the ready position. It`s half torn apart needing a carb, but it will run this week in an emergency.

I think I got an inch to spare...
