Getting rid of sealant application lines

Hi guys;
Yesterday i machine polished some parts of the car and applied soft 99 fusso to avoid leaving paint without protection.Paint was not hot, used straight lines and when i buffed it i could still see application lines and cant get them off.Did i leave it too long/ too little? It wasnt more then 10 minutes.
I spend that much time to avoid holograms and now they are ruining the finish.
Should i buff again with finishing pad/ m205?Apply Spray wax , qd, more wax?

Thanks in advance

Did you apply by hand or machine? Maybe you got it too thick and uneven. Try by machine if you didn't the first time and apply thin and make a crosshatch pattern.

To remove what you have on there, I would maybe try spraying some APC on the hood and let it dwell for a few minutes (don't let dry), then 2BM wash. If that doesn't work, you might need to repolish.

I did it by hand and because it was my second time using paste i got it too thick maybe as you said.I will continue polishing the car so going over them again is not a problem.
I will try hand again paste wax with rotary seems hard haha.

I wouldn't apply a LSP using straight-line motions, I prefer overlappying circular/elliptical/etc.- motions instead. With virtually any LSP, it oughta go on so thinly that you can't clearly see it.

I'd use a random orbital, not a rotary, to apply sealant/wax. If you don't want to buy a pricey RO and will only be using it for wax, one of those handhelds at the local auto parts store might work for you. Just make sure you can get a pad for applying wax. Better than by hand IMO.

You may also be able to remove the lines by applying sealant over it, thinly and removing it.

Yeah, the "like removes like" rule, though it might not work if he sealant has cured/etc. I'd be sure to do the subsequent application using circular, overlapping motions lest it just turn out the same way.

Thanks guy for the answers.
Because of the constant construction around the neighborhood car is too dirty to use qd.I will wash is at friday to continue paint correction.Lets see what happens, i may go over it with m205.

Before the hard work........ Try to remove it with qd and GOOD micro

I would try this first as well. After you wash it, try another application with circular crosshatch motion by hand, or crosshatch pattern by RO. See how that looks before you polish it all off and start over. Good luck.
