Getting a PC from lowes

Porter Cable got a rebate for 25 back for buying $150 tools. So a friend and I are going to get two 7336. Which is not a bad deal at all. I need some tips on using the pad and the polish on them. I not really sure how to go about it. I waxed with a machine before but not with polish. With wax, I usually dab on the pad and then dab it around the area and then wax. Do I do the same with the polish? Put some on the pad and then dab it around the area before I polish and then turn on the machine? Or do I just polish the damn area? Also wat speeds do u guys like for polishing and waxing.

Whats the difference between the 7336 and the 7424???

I did some looking it looks like:

7335 - sander with 5" weight

7336 - sander with 6" weight - $108 at lowes

7424 - polisher with 5" weight and the hook and loop plate - $119 at costal tools and if u want to reduce vibration on larger pads the 6 inch weight is like 20 bucks i believe not sure.

Griots sells a 7336 with a dust collector/case. Which normally is about $150 else where, but he gives u a 3m plate which is like $15 elsewhere. He charges $199.

They all are pretty much the same machine with different accesories.

But wait, there's more . . . .

So, as a start, you're happy to pay [$220 - $25] split 2-ways =

$ 97.50

If you find another friend, it goes down to [$330 - $50 rebate] split 3 ways =

$ 93.33

But, if you go to Lowes.com to register, and you check the box "I may be moving in 6 months", you get another 10% off the full $110, bringing the cost down to:

$ 82.33

Don't you just love Math word problems?
