I got a pneumatic rolling shop seat (mine's made by Mountain) for Xmas and it is a must have for any detailer. Gets you nice and low w/ no back strain and has a platform to hold towels, polish, etc. Should be on your top 10 list of detailing accessories, along w/ a halogen, etc.!

Cheers,

Ron

I was surprised to find that these seats are priced lower than some of the bucket caddies being sold so detailers for about twice the price (and are more comfortable, functional, etc.). Who wants to sit on a bucket lid? Mine also holds 350 lbs...

These are nice...

I have a couple I purchased from Big Lots - made by Torin and are called "Big Red". Think I paid $25 per seat

I got the one from Big Lots that has the square seat for $15 - my wife sat on it one day while I was wiping down the car and for Christmas she went and got me the round seat one from Sears 'cause she didn't like the seat on the one from Big Lots. :woohoo:

I bought one of these from Sams Club, and absolutely love it. I think the capacity is 300lbs, which is more than I'll ever need. The best $35 I have spent recently!

when I work nights and am doing a really low car, I like to put it on the frame machine and lift it to chest height for the sides :) It's not often the frame machine doesn't have a car on it though..
