I went into Auto Zone today to kill some time and was looking at some of their clearance items. I got some Turtle wax Ice tire shine for $.99 a bottle:hifive:Not my favorite tire shine at all (just tried it out....it was okay:rolleyes:) but for less than a $1 a bottle I couldn't pass it up. Oh yeah, it rang up $.01 when I got to the register:getdown:spot They also had some Auto Zone "EZ Detailer Wheel" brush's for $3



Check your local Auto Zone out, you might get some good deals on clearance
 
they had the claybar kits from turtle wax for .99 as well,....but they dont have those at any AZ close to me (i bought them all, only 3 left)



alot of the turtle wax junk is on clearance there.
 
Hey those Auto Zone (EZ style) wheel brushes aren't that bad. They will snap with too much bending but if you can keep the shaft mostly straight, it's a pretty decent brush. 2-3 45 degree bends and it's done...lol.



I usually go there for Clay Magic but I might have to stop by.
 
thanks for the heads up (AZ does this every once in a while), i got 5 turtle wax ice clay kit's... :up

p.s. how does this clay perform compared to megs or clay magic? edit: after opening the clay out of the package, it feels similiar to the white megs clay...
 
Just came back from AZ and picked up a whopping load of stuff. Almost all of the clearance stuff came up to $0.01 so I had to clear out the shelves... :D
 
^ the only thing i picked up was the clay kits as i don't want an abundance of things lying around (gonna toss everything but the clay bars in the kit). now that i think of it, i should of picked up the ice tire shine and if it wasn't decent, i could of always used it for the wheel wells...
 
!!! WOW, you guys in the states got it good :P It I was there I would buy everything 1 cents on the shelf! Heck even that would cost me less than a dollar.

yep, I got this at wal-mart during clearing out their mother's products.



funny, they have the ICE claybar kit for $15.57 (or something) and then the Liquid Clay for....$15.57.



I was unlucky at my 2 closest autozones, but maybe because I only checked the product aisles, I'm heading back tomorrow to check the "clearance" area...foolish me.
 
Just an update. I went to my local Autozone and there were some other products on clearance.

AutoZone Wheel Brush (cheap EZ Detail knockoff) .99

The tag in the aisle said 1 cent. However when I took it up to the register it came up as .99. The clerk wouldn't honor the listed price so I ended up putting a few back. They also had another Autozone MF wheel brush for 1 cent (listed) but they were all sold out.

The Turtle Wax Clay kits and Tire Shine were sold out. I have to check another Autozone tomorrow :)

I tried a few autozones today, but for the most part they were CLEANED OUT.



I was able to get 2 nice microfiber wheel brushes for 99c each- and at checkout, they added a black magic liquid wax to my bag for free:getdown
 
i spent 47 cents today.



about 13 bags worth, spread over 5 autozones.



I was lucky enough to find more Turtle wax Ice claybar kits...(tossing the crap liquid, and keeping the clay)



at one autozone, the guy was funny...he was like WTF?? yelled at his manager for not telling him about any of the 1 cent stuff....lol, i gave him a bottle of the turtle wax wheel cleaner with the brush on the end.

WOWZERS! I would have done the same :P I might ask someone in my family in the states to check it out for me.
