Gentle car wash for carnauba?

I am looking to start topping EX-P with Natty's Blue and am looking for a car wash that is gentle enough not to strip the carnauba off. I know Pinnacle car wash has a reputation for being kind of harsh, as does Meguiar's Gold Class.



I currently own the following shampoos:



EO Wet

Meg's GC

Meg's NXT

Zaino Z7

QEW

Adam's

1Z Perls

Sonus Gloss Shampoo

P21S

Pinnacle



I would be willing to order any if there is a general consensus on a good, gentle shampoo for carnaubas. Thanks :help:
 
Meg's Hyper Wash I haven't had issues on carnauba. I've also used Meg's gold class and Menzerna Auto Shampoo. All seem fine.

That stuff work good? What OTC product would you compare it to? (NXT, GC, Mothers, etc) And typically how much do you need for a wash? Does it bead, or sheet? Sud up or just lube? Thanks
 
Z7 seems to be pretty gentle.



EO Wet is pretty gentle but doesn't have quite enough lubricity for my tastes.



TOL Bubble Bath seems to be gentle also (I know you don't have it).

That would be my recommendation also, or PB's SSS.



Of the ones in the list though, I'd say 1Z and P21S would be among the gentle side. I have never used QEW but that may be good also, same with the Adam's.

I'm one of those. It seemed *really* harsh on my Souveran, which always seemed odd.



My LPS last a *lot* longer now that I wash with different shampoos, mainly Griot's. Meg's #62 is good and their #00 is very mild.



I liked the lubricity of the Pinnacle, and it cleans well, but man was it hard on carnaubas.

I thought you where, didnt want to mention you by name and get it wrong!



What are peoples views on P21S shampoo, I am guessing it should be kind on Carnubas?
 
not that it has much to do with your thread, but i have used nxt a few times an threw it out. It was leaving soap spots somethin awful. I usually use TOL Bubble bath but i ran out :(. TOL is by far my favorite and seems to be nice an easy on carnubas.
