I have a coleman 1850 generator(#2, the other one blew it's wad as well) that has once again hit the skids. What is ya'lls advice on getting another compareable sized generator? I carry enerything in the bed of my nissan frontier w/ a bed extender(crew cab w/shortbed) so space is a concern. Thanks in advance.

I have a troybuilt that i got from lowes. Its a 3000watt and has been great.I think i paid 400 new..give lowes a try...the troybuilts are nice with a briggs + stratton motor..

I've done car shows for over 20+ years and most people who use generators at them use Hondas ...they are really quiet, don't vibrate too much and seem to last forever. :)

I have the same exact one TexasTB has and I agree, it works great! My generator has been through hell and beyond and still runs great. :D

I have the same one as well. Paid around $249. I don't recall when I bought it in 2006 but I believe it's been in use for 6-9 months. My sits in a S10 truck. Very nice for the price. It's quiet, easy to start and has held up well so far. I had a clanging noise in the muffler that went away a few days after I ordered a new muffler.
