Got More Wax

I just took a call from a local Ferrari owner asking if I would come look at his car. This would be a new client referred by his neighbor who is an existing client . Anyway, he explained that he recently had gotten the number of of a detailer who came to service his car from Toronto. Left some "Marks" that he wants me to look at.



Question: was the fella that had all the trouble with a Lamborghini a while back from Toronto?

I don't know if it's the same guy. Haven't seen the car yet. So, not even sure there is really a problem. I just remember all the nonsense spread around mutltiple forum about this guy. I'm having a look at the car later today and will query the owner about who did the service.

I can't even remember the guy's name (EDIT: Tyler). Ask him when this was, so we know if he's still at it or if this was part of the original "Tour of America".
 
Leaving in about 35 minutes. Will bring back the evidence!!

Well still here in Michigan wrapping everything all up here. Going down to South Car. the week of Aug 10th to look at houses and such. The wife has a couple interviews already lined up. I'm looking myself to find a few places to stop in. Hate the thought of becoming a stooge again for a volume shop but I think it's the best bet to get established down there. Or get back into Engineering but I really think I'm going to have to take a couple refresher courses to get back up to speed since it's been a few years since I've been involved in that feild. So to get up and going on the fast track I'll take what i can get and continue on with the master plan ;)

Not the same guy. This guy's name is Halden or something like that. But, didn't do much correction. After travel and expenses, the client is into the detail for over $6k. He wasn't interested in giving me any more $.

Yup that's the guy. LOL.. How does this a$$ clown do it? I can't get people to pay over $300 for a full correction with top notch work and this guy can scam his way into thousands of dollars per detail getting flown all over the place and doing pure hack work... I just don't get it. He should be a used car salesman or something..
 
You know, we all know Dalton is an exceptional detailer. But, end of the day, he gets his "product" out by superior marketing. Maybe this guy is a little more savvy than most believe him to be??

OhHhhHhh...now it all makes sense! For a while I was confused as to who this guy was. No wonder it says what it does under his user name! And wow, with some of the stuff he used to say on here, I can't believe that is a picture of his work...let alone the crap he is pulling on people:nixweiss.
 
^ Maybe just a little. That just goes to show that people really don't know. For 6k what did he think he was gonna get?
