Gave the Menzerna Twins another try.

My first experience woith them was pretty frustrating, the Ip didnt do anything for my swirls, and the FP was as easy to remove at dry cement.

Today i decided to get off my butt and give it anohter whirl, i got the speed up on my pc to about 5, and applied a bit more pressure then i normally would and the results were great. Minimized the swirls by about 80 percent, which is about as good as i can hope for i think. I also beefed up my alch/water solution a bit which made the removal much easier.

Ive never gotten such a crispt shine on my car before, very clear and sharp. Pics to come later, my blitz is still drying.

Yea, I too hated "Glue-Zerna" as well, but did the same thing. Gave it another try after 3M PIII-MG, I used the Menz FP on a grey pad as I just wanted the polish to work the finish, not the pad.

Worked the snot out of it, let it break down and to my amazement, the finish was like a mirror! I compaired it to the other panel area and it truly looked much better.

So, I learned that high speed on the PC, followed by same thing, a little more pressure, but let the polish break down more. Removal was not bad as it was in the past. Used a little QD to finish out any remaining light haze and I was greeted by that beautiful mirror shine. Ah, so this is the answer.

Deanski
